Arboretum Silverleaf Faces Delays Amid Auditor Transition Challenges

The real estate investment entity cites accounting firm resignation as the primary reason for postponed filings.

Background and Filing Delays

Arboretum Silverleaf Income Fund, L.P., a private investment partnership specializing in income-generating assets, has notified the SEC of delays in filing its Quarterly Report for the period ending September 30, 2024. This marks the continuation of ongoing challenges faced by the company due to an unexpected auditor resignation earlier this year.

The delayed filings include its quarterly reports for the first three quarters of 2024 and its annual report for 2023. The resignation of the independent accounting firm in February 2024 disrupted the financial review process, forcing the company to seek new auditors while addressing significant administrative hurdles.

Efforts to Resolve Reporting Lapses

The company assured stakeholders of its commitment to resolving the delays as efficiently as possible. Since the departure of its previous auditors, Arboretum Silverleaf has been actively engaging potential replacements and collaborating with interim consultants to ensure the continuity of its financial processes. Despite these efforts, the timeline for completing the delayed filings remains unclear.
