New investments reflect continued momentum in demand for infrastructure-focused alternative assets.

Strong February Capital Raise

Ares Core Infrastructure Fund locked in $403.5 million in new capital during its February 2026 monthly close. The raise came through the sale of Class I and Class S Common Shares, with each share priced at its net asset value as of January 31.

This latest round continues the fund’s push to attract long-term infrastructure capital. There were no underwriting fees tied to the offering. Instead, the transaction was completed as a private placement, relying on exemptions under the Securities Act that allow firms to raise capital from eligible investors without going through a public registration.

While Ares itself doesn’t apply upfront sales charges on the shares, it noted that certain selling agents may apply their own fees. These are capped at 2.0% of NAV for Class D Shares and 3.5% for Class S Shares. Class I Shares remain free of such charges and are typically directed toward institutional buyers or other qualified investors.

Share Class Breakdown and Outlook

As of January month-end, the fund reported more than 91.8 million Class I Shares outstanding. It also held roughly 3.3 million Class S Shares and just over 26,000 Class D Shares. Class N Shares weren’t part of the capital structure at that time.

The new commitments highlight the continued interest in infrastructure-linked investments and the fund’s ability to scale within that space. With this latest closing, Ares is adding meaningful dry powder to deploy into core infrastructure assets—offering investors long-dated exposure with the potential for stable returns.
