Blackstone Raises $663 Million in Private Share Sale
Blackstone Private Credit Fund (BPCF) has raised $663.5 million through an unregistered sale of Class I common shares. The transaction, finalized on February 20, 2025, involved shares issued to feeder vehicles designed to hold Class I shares. The sale was conducted under an exemption from registration requirements, allowing BPCF to bring in additional capital without a public offering.
February Distributions Announced
The fund also announced its February 2025 distributions, with each share class set to receive $0.22 per share. After accounting for servicing and distribution fees, net distributions vary slightly by share class:
- Class I shares:$0.22 net distribution
- Class S shares:$0.202 net distribution
- Class D shares:$0.2147 net distribution
Shareholders on record as of February 28, 2025, will receive payments on or around March 26, 2025. Investors can choose to receive distributions in cash or have them automatically reinvested in additional shares.
Net Asset Value and Financial Position
BPCF provided an update on its financial position, reporting a net asset value (NAV) of $25.42 per share across all share classes as of January 31, 2025. The fund’s total NAV stands at approximately $40 billion, supported by a $70 billion investment portfolio.
With a debt-to-equity leverage ratio of 0.77 times and $31.6 billion in outstanding debt, the fund maintains significant lending capacity. It reported $37.3 billion in committed debt facilities, with the majority structured as floating rate leverage.
Ongoing Share Sales
BPCF is continuing to raise capital through a mix of public and private offerings. The fund has reached its $45 billion sales target, including shares issued through both channels. It plans to keep selling shares monthly, providing ongoing opportunities for investors to participate.
