HWH International Changes Independent Auditor Amid Smooth Transition
HWH International is making a change that will shape how it handles financial oversight moving forward. As of July 2, the company brought in HTL International as its new independent auditor, following a decision from the Audit Committee and a full board approval. This move ends HWH’s engagement with Grassi & Co., which had handled audits for the past two fiscal years.
The switch wasn’t triggered by disagreements or red flags. Grassi’s audits for 2023 and 2024 came through clean, with no modifications, disclaimers, or concerns about accounting principles or audit scope. There were also no reportable events or disputes—Grassi’s exit was routine, not reactive. HWH asked Grassi to confirm these facts in a letter submitted alongside the change, keeping transparency front and center.
HTL enters the picture with a fresh start. HWH hasn’t consulted with the firm on any accounting matters before this appointment—no behind-the-scenes discussions, no early guidance, and no influence on past decisions. This is a new engagement aimed at preparing for the fiscal year ending December 2025.
The company handled the transition with precision. There were no gaps, no complications, and no delays. It’s a straightforward shift that ensures HWH continues operating with the proper financial oversight and audit controls in place.
As an emerging growth company, HWH also followed the required process under securities law, wrapping the change into an SEC filing that included all supporting exhibits. The document was finalized and signed by CFO Rongguo Wei.
This marks a clean handoff and a fresh start as HWH gears up for the next financial reporting cycle.
