PIMCO Schedules Shareholder Meeting to Vote on Trustees:

Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) has announced a joint special meeting for shareholders across several of its funds, set for November 18, 2024. The meeting, which will take place at PIMCO's headquarters in Newport Beach, California, will ask shareholders to vote on the election of trustees for various funds, including PIMCO California Flexible Municipal Income Fund, PIMCO Flexible Credit Income Fund, PIMCO Flexible Emerging Markets Income Fund, and PIMCO Managed Accounts Trust.

Election of Trustees at the Forefront:

The primary focus of the meeting is the election of trustees to the Board of Trustees for each fund. The proposed slate of trustees includes both independent and interested trustees, with Kathleen A. McCartney, Libby D. Cantrill, and David Flattum standing as nominees. Independent trustees are those not affiliated with PIMCO, while interested trustees have ties to the firm. The board of each fund unanimously recommends a “FOR” vote for the election of all nominees.

Voting Rights and Record Date

Shareholders eligible to vote at the meeting are those who hold shares as of the record date, September 13, 2024. Depending on the fund, voting rights may differ between common and preferred shareholders. For certain funds like CAFLX and PMFLX, both common and preferred shareholders will vote together on the election of trustees. Meanwhile, other funds, such as PFLEX and EMFLX, will see only common shareholders voting on trustee nominees.

How to Participate

Shareholders have the option to vote their shares by mail, telephone, or online through proxy cards provided with the meeting materials. In-person attendance is also available, but PIMCO advises shareholders to confirm any health regulations or guidelines in place.

Proxy Statement and Additional Information

Further details, including biographies of the nominees, are available in the proxy statement sent to shareholders and available online. The board encourages all shareholders to participate in this important governance process, even if they cannot attend in person.
