StratCap REIT Receives Additional $5.3 Million Equity Commitment from Sponsor
On October 6, StratCap Digital Infrastructure REIT, Inc. received a $5.3 million investment from its sponsor, StratCap Investment Management, LLC. The investment was made through the purchase of 525,282 Class I shares, priced at $10.0898 each.
This latest commitment brings the sponsor’s total investment to more than 2 million Class I shares and nearly 25,000 Class IX shares. The board approved the transaction on the same day it closed, reflecting a direct and timely decision to strengthen the REIT’s capital base.
The added capital creates more room to execute—whether that’s deploying into new digital infrastructure assets or maintaining flexibility on the balance sheet.
While StratCap hasn’t outlined specific use cases for this injection, an investment of this size reinforces the sponsor’s stake in the strategy and signals continued confidence in the REIT’s direction.
StratCap remains designated as an emerging growth company, and the filing confirms that it’s opted to extend the timeline for adopting new accounting standards. This gives the REIT additional flexibility as it grows.
